I’ve never heard of the place, and neither did any of my family around the area. However, the reviews spoke very highly of them and I’m swayed by good reviews lol. I called Sunday night and left a voicemail to see if they were able to squeeze me in for a post-purchase vehicle inspection. I got a call back Monday morning and spoke with a man and said they could get me in at 7:00AM on Thursday. To me, in my limited experience, that’s a pretty quick timeline for mechanics to make time. I showed up a little later than 7:00AM but they were very cool about it. I thought I knew the place’s location and raw dogged it without putting it into GPS lol. They got my keys and did the inspection in about 30-ish minutes. The mechanic, Kyle, came in and showed me the only two things he saw. I had a hairline cracked oil cartridge, and some dry brakes. He said everything else was good to go and looked great. Didn’t even try to sell me on anything, and even said I could get by on the dry brakes but said they’ll wear out faster. I appreciate an honest mechanic who isn’t trying to do the “hey it’s ok condition, but this is why we should fix it today” strategy on XYZ. I paid the inspection fee, an was about to get the quote to fix the oil cartridge before the woman who runs the office came in and stopped the front desk woman. She explained that since my car was from Carvana and I had the 7 day period they offer that they could get it all paid by Carvana. She had the front desk woman refund my inspection fee and called Carvana as soon as they opened. About 10 mins later she came by and said they ok’d the repair, inspection fee, as well as the brake lubrication by saying “it was making noises” so they wouldn’t try to fight it. I had a few other concerns about some interior damage to the interior trim and the office woman tried her best to get Carvana to pay for cosmetic repairs, but they denied her (I didn’t expect it to work, but the attempt is appreciated). She did, however, tell me exactly what I should say to my Carvana associate I contacted and see if they would cover the damage with one last attempt. I came back to the shop after maybe 5 hours to pick up, and everything was paid for from Carvana like that the office woman said. Oil cartridge was replaced, brakes lubricated, and they even power washed the underside of my car due to some oil leakage mess. If I ever need anymore work done I’ll definitely come back to Brock’s. I’ve had so many bad experiences at mechanics that if my next experience here is as good as this one I won’t ever let another mechanic touch my car again.
